About Freya

I am a singing tutor with more than 13 years of experience, specializing in teaching college students. My approach combines technical skill development with creative exploration. I focus on breath control, pitch accuracy, vocal tone, and expressive performance, helping students sing confidently and passionately.

I bring innovation to my lessons through exercises like vocal improvisation, recording feedback, and practical song analysis. Each lesson is customized to the student’s pace, strengths, and goals, ensuring learning is effective and engaging.

Performance preparation is a core part of my teaching. I guide students in stage presence, expressive interpretation, and building confidence for recitals, auditions, and competitions. Music theory and ear training are also included to provide a strong foundation.
