About Emma
I’m a dedicated and enthusiastic musician who loves helping students discover their confidence and creativity through music. Having grown up learning piano, violin, and singing, teaching feels like a natural extension of my own musical journey. I enjoy creating a calm, supportive space where learners of all ages can grow at their own pace, whether they’re preparing for exams or simply exploring something new. Being part of a symphonic and string orchestra has deepened my passion for music, and sharing that joy with others is one of the main reasons I teach.

I offer friendly, structured music lessons tailored to each student’s goals, whether they’re preparing for exams, building confidence, or learning purely for enjoyment. My teaching covers singing, violin, and piano, with a strong focus on healthy technique, musicality, and steady progress.
What lessons include :
- Scales and technical exercises to build strong foundations
- Vocal warm-ups for safe, confident singing
- Violin and piano scales to support tone, intonation, and fluency
- Repertoire chosen by the student or aligned with exam syllabuses (ABRSM, Trinity, LCM)
- Flexible lesson structure based on age, level, and learning style
Students can follow a graded pathway or choose pieces they love — I adapt lessons to what motivates them most.
Lesson length
Lessons are flexible and typically run for 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on age, focus, and goals.
Who I teach
I welcome all ages and levels, from complete beginners to intermediate players and singers. My approach is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each learner’s pace.

- Grade 8 Classical Singing & Musical Theatre
- Member of Symphonic Orchestra and String Orchestra
- Actively pursuing further musical study and performance opportunities
My background across multiple instruments allows me to give students a well-rounded musical education, with strong emphasis on technique, expression, and confidence.
Teaching style
I create a calm, supportive environment where students feel comfortable exploring their abilities. Lessons balance structure with creativity, ensuring steady progress while keeping music enjoyable. I break down concepts clearly and use age-appropriate methods to help students understand and apply new skills.
