About Emmanuella
I am a singer and songwriter and teacher who has been singing professionally as well as writing and producing music for the last 10 years. I have a BA in Music and a PGCE in lifelong learning as well as 5 years of experience teaching music and production in FE colleges. I focus more on popular musical styles but can also do jazz. I predominantly focus on singing lessons but I also deliver music production and songwriting lessons.

My teaching method is student focus and is about understanding what you would like to achieve and tailoring the course accordingly e.g if you would like to be able in a specific style, I will study the style and design exercises that focus on developing the vocal techniques that reflect this styles.
Once we have discussed your aims and objectives we will choose a song to work on your pitch, vocal technique and performance!
Typical lesson structure:
Vocal warm-ups (5-10 min)
Song practice - Going over song sections and identifying areas for improvement (10-15 min)
Vocal exercises - These will be tailored to your specific areas identified as a singer e.g having more control over your vibrato (15-20 minutes) - I will also provide you with resources to work on these exercises in your own time also!
Recording - At the end of each session we will record you and review this the next lesson.
