About Sofia
Sofia is a Singer, Music Director, and Voice teacher with countless years of experience. A graduate from Cal Poly Pomona, Sofia has performed in professional theatres and recording studios.
Sofia models her style of teaching following a philosophy of freeing the natural voice, exploring what is individual to the student, encouraging students to find what makes their voices unique and how to free that voice to access their individual goals, acknowledging and honoring their talents.
The basis, of learning to support their voice using proper breath control, vocal support, and the lack of tension through many different practices.
They are passionate about song and creating captivating performances through music.
Some genres they enjoy teaching are: Musical Theatre, Jazz, Pop, R&B, Spanish, Classical, Rock and Roll, ETC.
They also teach voice for the actor.
