About Mahir

I’m Mahir, a senior Computer Science student at Stony Brook University with strong academic achievements—including an 800 SAT Math score, 790 on the Math II Subject Test, and 780 in Physics. My solid foundation in math, science, and computer science equips me to help students excel. I take tutoring seriously and am committed to providing clear, structured, and patient guidance tailored to each student’s needs. I believe every learner can succeed with the right approach, and I’m dedicated to helping you build confidence and master challenging concepts. Professionalism, reliability, and personalized support are at the core of my teaching. I strive to create a focused and encouraging learning environment so you feel comfortable asking questions and progressing at your own pace. If you want a knowledgeable and approachable tutor who values your goals as much as you do, I’m here to help you achieve them.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to make challenging subjects approachable and enjoyable. Whether you’re struggling to grasp concepts or aiming for top scores, I tailor each session to your unique needs and learning style.

I focus on clear explanations paired with practical examples to help you connect theory with real-world applications. This approach builds a deep understanding rather than just memorization.

I cover a range of subjects including mathematics (from algebra to calculus), statistics, natural sciences (physics, chemistry, biology), and computer science fundamentals.

All lessons are held online with interactive tools like virtual whiteboards and live problem-solving to keep you engaged. I encourage questions and adapt pacing based on your progress.

Whether you’re preparing for standardized tests, school exams, or just want to strengthen your foundation, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Let’s work together to build your confidence and achieve your goals!
