About Brook
I am a senior in high school planning on majoring in nursing to become a neonatal nurse practitioner with a minor in music. I have been in choir for 8 years and have done voice lessons for 4 years. I have been in a hand-picked after-school show choir for 2 years and excelled at AP music theory. I have volunteered helping young children to understand the importance of music and grow their love for it. I have also taught young children and teens through vocal lessons!

I adhere to each persons individual needs. Those who are looking for singing lessons will be given a placement test to assess their current strengths and give us a place to start. I will then plan a specialized pathway for each student. Students will do vocal warm ups, vocal exercises dependent on their needs, we will work on pieces that can be picked by the student or myself.
For younger children music classes, will explore different types of music, teach recognition of vocal patterns and tempo, we will learn basic music theory and how to use our voice in healthy ways. We will also watch performances and talk about what we see and even dance!
