About Shivanand
Having learnt Tabala myself just few years back, I would love to teach the basics of Tabala to kids. Tabla not only helps kids focus, but also helps improve their mathematical skills and gives them a sense of repetiotions, clycles, gaps and space in time periods and cycles.

Introduction to basic kaidas will develop the skills to get started and self-improve by playing to different songs and bhajans. The lessons would be 30 mins to 45 depending on how long the child can learn with interest. First few lessons will be to teach the basic skills of tabla with all syllables. Then, introducing simple kaidas, tihais, Teen Taal with Tukhda, Relas and Mohara example.
