About Abhay Pratap Singh
Hello! I am a B.Sc. Graduate in Computer Science with a strong passion for teaching and mentoring school students.
Having a technical and analytical background, I have always looked at social sciences not as a subject to memorize, but as a discipline to understand logically. My strong command over general studies, history, and geography has helped me excel in various competitive and academic examinations, which gives me a unique edge in guiding students effectively.
Why I started teaching:
I believe that the foundation of a student's career is built during middle and high school (Classes 6 to 10). Often, subjects like Social Science are treated as low-priority or boring, leading to rote learning. My objective is to bridge this gap by mentoring students with modern teaching techniques, making them curious about history, economics, and politics.
My Strengths as an Educator:

Analytical Approach: Being from a B.Sc. background, I use a structured and logical approach to break down complex historical events or economic concepts.

Social Science is often viewed as a boring or "rattamar" (memorization-based) subject, but my goal is to completely change that mindset. I bring a structured, logical, and analytical approach to Humanities, making it highly engaging and easy to understand.
Here is what my online classes look like:
Storytelling & Real-Life Connect: History is taught like an interesting movie plot with proper timelines, while Civics/Political Science is linked with current affairs so students can connect with how our democracy actually works.
Visual Geography (Map Work Masterclass): Geography is 100% visual. I use digital maps, diagrams, and screen-sharing tools to ensure students remember resources, rivers, and dams effortlessly. Board-exam map work is practiced thoroughly.
CBSE/ICSE Board Exam Oriented Preparation (Class 10): Special focus on Class 10 Board students. We will strictly follow NCERT/Board guidelines and solve the last 5-10 years' Previous Year Questions (PYQs).
Answer Writing Skills: Knowing the answer is one thing, but presenting it on paper is what gets you 95+ marks. I teach students how to write structured answers using Bullet Points, Keywords Underlining, and Flowcharts.
Regular Assessments & Quick Revision Notes: After every chapter, there will be a mini-test. I also provide crisp, one-page revision sheets and timelines for quick retention before exams.
