About Bukola

Hi, I'm Bukola, a qualified primary school teacher working within the British Curriculum framework, with training aligned to Ofsted standards. I am currently completing a Postgraduate Certificate through Liverpool John Moores University to further strengthen my teaching practice and stay current with best practices in education.

I approach every lesson with genuine care, thorough preparation, and a strong sense of professionalism. Parents and students can trust that lessons are structured, purposeful, and delivered in a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment. My goal is not only to help children understand Science and Math, but to build their confidence and love of learning along the way.

With years of classroom experience, I understand how to communicate clearly, keep lessons engaging, and adapt to each child's needs, giving you confidence that your child is in capable, dedicated hands.

About the lesson

Hi, I'm Bukola, a primary school teacher who makes Science and Math clear, engaging, and enjoyable for young learners.

My teaching method: I start by understanding how each child learns best, whether that's through visuals, hands-on examples, storytelling, or step-by-step practice, and I build lessons around that. Rather than teaching a fixed script, I adapt my pace and explanations to the individual child breaking down tricky concepts into smaller, manageable steps until they click.
A typical lesson: I usually begin with a short recap of what we covered last time to check understanding, followed by introducing the new topic through a simple, relatable example. We then work through practice questions together, adjusting the difficulty in real time based on how the child is doing. Each lesson ends with a quick, low-pressure check-in so the child leaves feeling confident about what they've learned, plus light practice to reinforce it before our next session.
What sets me apart: I focus on the "why" behind a concept, not just the answer, helping children build real understanding rather than memorizing steps. I combine genuine patience with a focus on building a child's confidence and belief in their own ability, not just their test scores.

Who this is for: These lessons are designed for children ages 5 to 11, covering core Science and Math topics appropriate to their level, from foundational number and problem-solving skills to introductory science concepts. Lessons suit children who are confident and want to go further, as well as those who need extra support or find certain topics challenging.
