About Ganiu
A learning man is an appreciating asset. My passion to teach is inspired by the popular quote of Albert Einstein; If you can't teach it simply then you don't know it enough. As a graduate of Chemical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, I know that hard work and dedication to learning are rewarding. My experience as a teacher during my undergraduate days has helped many students understand and improve their performance in their courses of study. I specialize in tutoring Math and Sciences for Primary and JSS students, and have had successful experience preparing students for Common Entrance, JSCE, SSCE, UTME, POSTUTME, IGCSE. I also teach senior secondary Mathematics, Chemistry & Physics, and help out with numeracy, literacy, and handwriting improvement for early learners and adults. One of my goals for each session is to keep the student challenged and inquisitive but not overwhelmed. My lessons are tailored to fit the student's learning style. I enjoy relating the lessons to what is around my students as this paints a long-lasting picture in their memory. I assign homework after every lesson to assess his/her understanding of the concept taught, and provide periodic assessment and feedback both to the students and parents if applicable.
