About Sanjay

As a dedicated TEFL teacher, I’m excited to share that I completed the TEFL Academy’s 120-hour certification programme in June 2025! This was a massive step in my teaching journey. I began with a Bachelor of Science degree in Motorsport Engineering, where I not only acquired technical skills but also developed a knack for problem-solving while working in a busy garage. However, my heart was drawn to a more impactful career, which is why I pursued a second Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics and Nutrition—something that genuinely resonates with my passion for health and wellness. Throughout my teaching career, I’ve had the pleasure of helping students prepare for the IELTS exams, guiding them to improve their English skills and achieve their academic goals. I’ve taught both in-person and online, connecting with students from all over the world. I especially treasure the relationships I’ve built with learners from Japan, South Korea, and beyond, as each interaction has deepened my appreciation for the diverse cultures and their rich cuisines. My training at TEFL.org in London was a game-changer for me! I learned essential teaching methods and got valuable insights into what makes language instruction effective. I delved into English pronunciation, exploring the differences between various accents, especially Received Pronunciation (RP). Learning the phonetic alphabet has been incredibly helpful in teaching pronunciation and enabling my students to communicate with confidence. As I move forward in my teaching career, I’m looking forward to sharing my knowledge and empowering my students to express themselves clearly and authentically, embracing their unique voices. Engaging with people from diverse backgrounds not only broadens my perspective but also enriches my teaching experience, making it more vibrant and effective. Each lesson is an exciting chance for us all to learn and grow together, making a meaningful impact on our lives.

My goal is to help you not only master the English language but also boost your confidence in speaking and communicating effectively. I genuinely enjoy working with learners from diverse backgrounds and skill levels, and I’m here to support you every step of the way as we explore listening, reading, writing, and speaking together in a fun and engaging environment. I hold a 120-hour TEFL certification from TEFL.org, which means I have a wealth of creative teaching strategies to cater to your unique learning style. I’m patient and adaptable, so we can find a pace that feels just right for you. To keep things lively, I like to incorporate interactive games, fill-in-the-blank exercises, and various fun activities that cater to different learning styles and preferences. Whether you’re just starting or looking to polish your skills, I offer lessons for everyone! Our sessions usually last between 45 minutes and an hour, during which you’ll have my full attention as we focus on your language growth. All of our classes are held online, allowing you to learn from the comfort of your own home. You can choose one-on-one sessions for that personal touch or join group lessons for a more collaborative vibe—it’s totally up to you! I’m available every day from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM to fit into your busy schedule. We can connect through Skype, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams to create a seamless learning experience. I also specialise in helping students prepare for the IELTS exam, providing you with tailored strategies to help you shine! Whether you prefer following a structured course book or chatting about topics that spark your interest, I’m here to make your educational journey enjoyable and meaningful. I believe in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere where you can thrive.
