About Simon
Meet Simon Baggs, a world-class violinist, conductor, and composer. Simon began playing the violin at age 10, honing his skills at the prestigious Wells Cathedral School and representing the UK in an international competition at 19. He holds a BMus from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
Simon has served as guest principal with many of the UK's leading orchestras and was a member of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. He has contributed to thousands of pop tracks and hundreds of film scores, primarily recorded at Abbey Road Studios. Additionally, he has played lead violin in London's West End on countless occasions. As a skilled composer and conductor, Simon brings extensive experience to his pupils.
