About Ansel
I am a classically trained singer with a passion for helping young people develop confidence and enjoyment through music. I have trained in Musical Theatre at the Royal Academy of Music and have sung with some of the UK's most respected choirs, including St Martin-in-the-Fields, the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain (NYCGB), and Capital Choir, as well as serving as Head Chorister at my prep school.
I have been awarded six ABRSM Distinctions, including three marks of over 140, and have performed as a soloist at a range of prestigious events, including the International Children's Peace Prize, several performances at Gray's Inn, and the Virgin Radio Christmas Special. I have also recorded as a solo male backing vocalist with Grammy Award-winning artist Dave and have been taught by the internationally renowned tenor Andrew Kennedy.
These experiences have allowed me to perform at a high level while learning from exceptional musicians and teachers. I now enjoy sharing that knowledge with younger singers, helping them build healthy vocal technique, confidence and a genuine love of singing.

My lessons are designed to help young singers build a healthy, confident and expressive voice. Drawing on my training at the Royal Academy of Music and experience performing as both a chorister and soloist, I focus on developing strong vocal technique alongside musicality and performance skills.
I specialise in working with male voices, helping students navigate vocal development with confidence while building good habits from the beginning. Whether your goal is to sing in a choir, prepare for auditions, perform musical theatre or simply gain confidence in your voice, lessons are tailored to each student's individual aims and experience.
