When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?
I developed an interest in architecture and design when I came to the university. I had no idea what the programme of architecture was about. then i got better until i was one of the best and started to teach others
Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).
I guide students through developing very great concepts to their design, and teaching them softwares that helps them to achieve their imagination. I take students through their studio projects so they come up with their programmes.
Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?
My role model is ZAHA Hadid i think she has broken boundaries in Architecture and shes a great inspiration to all architectural designers
What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?
Patience: in teaching and guiding students..
trustworthy: your students must trust you
confident: believing in your students in important
Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.
Here is my experience when i was a student
12 hours to my final submission in my 5th had over 60 sheets of supporting documents to produce for my presentation and none of my sheets printed ...i had 30sheets ready with a very strong concept. i focused on printing the 30 sheets ..all printing areas were filled with architecture students printing final works.. i went to an advertisement printing press and printed on a banner material instead of normal sheets and submitted. ....at the end my works were selected as one of the best..i was asked to complete the remaining to be used as a guide for other students...hehehe.... what did you think i did after whether i finished it or not
What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or still facing in your subject?
Architecture takes time to produce a concept and bring out the wow effect. and the challenge it creates is that it makes you slow when you dont know what you are driving at. but immediately you get the concept i become as fast as the word.
Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?
My passion is in design concept configuration and everything design
