About Debra
I have had experience working with dyslexic students. I served as the dyslexic chair person at the last school where i taught. I taught honor students and reading improvement stidents. I thoroughly enjoyed teaching all ability levels and always brought the student forward from where they were.

My teaching strategy is to assess where the student is by doing some brief analysis such as a running reading record; sight word recognition and leveled reading passages. I plan reading passages according to the current reading ability gradually increasing the difficulty.
