About David
With 30 years’ experience in primary education, including 20 years as a successful Headteacher, I have always placed pupil wellbeing at the heart of learning. I firmly believe that children achieve their best when they feel confident, supported, and free from unnecessary pressure. Creating a positive, nurturing environment allows pupils to develop the mindset needed for success and enjoyment in learning. Every child is unique, and I take great care to understand individual learning styles, strengths, and interests, tailoring lessons and resources to meet their specific needs. By combining extensive educational experience with a personalised approach, I help pupils build confidence, make meaningful progress, and reach their full potential.

Using both the National and bespoke curriculum content is planned for individual needs.
After identifying specific areas for support I offer 30 minute tutor sessions of active and adaptive learning.
I have taught from Reception to Year 6 in Primary. Specialist SEND experience as a Primary School Senco.
Happy to teach from Year 2-6
Also support for older pupil wellbeing and SEN considered on a case by case basis.
Holder of enhanced DBS and up-to-date safeguarding certification.
