About Charlotte

About the lesson

Vocabulary training centres on formal, professional, and argumentative language, genuinely useful words for serious discussion, workplace negotiation, and confident formal communication. I run mock meetings and structured discussions regularly, giving students genuine practice constructing and defending a position clearly under mild real pressure. Listening practice includes formal speeches and structured argumentation, exposing students to natural, precise English in genuinely serious, consequential contexts. I correct precisely and directly, explaining exactly why one phrasing carries more weight or clarity than another, the same reasoning I applied constantly on the bench.
