About Karen

I integrate my Bachelor of Education from York University into every interaction to ensure my methods are sound. We focus heavily on vocabulary building and interview preparation to ensure you feel ready for any professional challenge. It is about practical application.
You will receive a homework module with feedback after every class to keep your progress consistent. My instruction remains grounded in the realities of your daily life as an adult learner or student. We will track your development through constant analysis of your written and spoken output.

Honestly, I find the most rewarding moments occur when a student finally feels comfortable speaking in a high stakes environment. My teaching character is defined by a desire to provide steady, clear, and actionable feedback.
I have taught 266 students throughout my career as a retired federal language training instructor. My expertise covers accent softening, grammar foundations, and business English. Writing skills and presentation practice are also essential pillars of my work.
