About William

I am certified to teach mathematics at the undergraduate level. I have over 35 years experience teaching undergraduate mathematics and statistics at three community colleges and two universities. I am able to teach a wide range of high school and college math. I have compassion for my students, meet their individual needs and demonstrate my passion for mathematics and the teaching of math. I prepare lessons prior to the tutoring session but adapt them to the needs of each student. Past students have described me as caring and knowledgeable. Here are some current reviews: Nicol B. Makes sure that the student understands and if they don't have time to finish or figure out something during the session he will go out of his way to send an email with material to help understand the topic and even complete the steps on the problem that wasn't completed during the session in order for it to make sense to the student. About the lesson

Lessons are taught using an interactive whiteboard. Files are downloaded to the whiteboard to supplement the lesson. From my 35 plus years of teaching undergraduate mathematics, I can quickly identify student errors whether they are conceptual or minor computation errors. I prepare lessons prior to the tutoring session and adapt them to the individual student needs. I am able to teach all high school mathematics and undergraduate college math.

I have known Rudy as a friend and colleague for 35 years. Much of that time was when we both worked as mathematics professors at FSCJ. Rudy displayed excellence and professionalism both in and out of the classroom. He was always dependable and willing to step in to help the department whenever there was a need. It was apparent that Rudy was interested in the success and education of his students. Frequently, I would observe him working in his office with students, giving them additional help outside of class.

In addition to his outstanding work in the classroom, Rudy was always a collegial and amiable member of the department. He was always willing to work with other faculty to assure the smooth operation of the department. It has been my pleasure to have known Rudy for so many years.
