About Janet
I taught for 40 years including teaching reading. During this time I taught hundreds of students who now are grown with their own families or in college. I recently retired from training Montessori teachers. I like to write and give educational presentations.

I use a phonics approach to reading as well as Latin roots. I am supportive and encouraging. I believe every person can learn at their level. My training is Montessori which focuses on the unique characteristics and skills of each child.
