About Sophie
I have been qualified as a Registered veterinary nurse for over 5 years and working in veterinary practice for over 8 years. I decided I wanted to make the career change to become a Vet, and I am currently a veterinary student.
I am patient and enthusiastic, with a strong focus on understanding rather than just memorising, as this will provide more value over time. I have previous experience tutoring a variety of ages.

I am able to tutor on a wide variety of animal/ veterinary related topics. Including anatomy and biology, working through each topic to ensure the student has grasped the concept and linking them with real life examples.
I wasn't someone who naturally picked things up first time, and often needed to work through things at a different pace. Due to this, I aim to offer a patient and non judgemental space and can adapt my teaching dependant on the student and their individual learning style.

Sophie was great, there was a few topics I found difficult but she did a great job breaking them down and making sure I understood each part before moving on
Sophie is a brilliant tutor, she’s able to breakdown complex topics and explain them in a simple and concise manor, she always adapts her teaching style to suit you as an individual. Can definitely recommend !
I used Sophie as a tutor , she was super friendly and easy to get along with, as well as providing useful and simple to understand information which helped with my exams. Thank you
She’s super friendly, and will go over things more than once to make sure you understand. I didn’t leave the session feeling confused.
Didn’t feel nervous to have a lesson with her and would happily have some sessions with her again :)View more recommendations
