I tailor my teaching to meet nursing students at their current level of understanding to support their growth and confidence. My focus is mastery of core concepts with close attention to detail while still keeping the big clinical picture in focus. By connecting concepts across the different bodily systems and disease processes, I help students develop a more holistic understanding of patient care. My teaching centers on the pathophysiology and management of conditions within each system, helping students build strong clinical reasoning skills. I also enjoy creating interactive games and activities that make learning engaging and fun.
