About Ying
I have a wide variety of Chinese teaching experience both home and abroad.At home,i have taught Chinese to expatriates working in China on one-to-one basis.Abroad i have taught Chinese to different age groups:primary and high school children for a academic year,first in the Philippines,then in Mauritius.The number of students ranged from fifteen to twenty. I have also taught mature students belonging to local Chinese societies in these countries.They are all from different religious and ethnic groups.

Apart from teaching Chinese, I can teach the Chinese tea art, paper cutting, and cuisine. There is a Chinese character ”聪“which can indicate the way I use is that learner-centered. It means to be smart we need to fully use our ears, eyes, mouth, and our heart. I will demonstrate all kinds of different tea having the pupils observe what I do, and ask everyone to participate in making the tea on their own, smelling its flavour and taste it.

Perfect! Ying has high standards in teaching and she sets equally high bar for her students, which really works well for me.
