About Salman
I am a registered CA(SA) currently working at one of the Big 4 firms in Johannesburg. With four years of auditing experience, I also manage the bookkeeping function for my own business. In my full-time role, I am actively involved in developing audit software, which combines my technical expertise with my passion for innovation. Teaching and mentoring have always been deeply fulfilling for me, as I find great joy in helping future generations make informed choices that leverage their strengths and positively influence their paths. Outside of work and tutoring, I enjoy playing padel and spending quality time with my wife and family.

My teaching philosophy is centered around empowering students to think critically and independently. Rather than simply providing answers, I focus on equipping students with the tools and frameworks they need to solve problems and understand concepts deeply. My goal is to help students move beyond memorization and develop a genuine understanding of the subject matter. What sets me apart as a tutor is my emphasis on guiding students to find answers themselves, and using practical examples and analogies to bridge knowledge gaps. I believe in fostering problem-solving skills and conceptual understanding, which allows students to tackle challenges confidently both inside and outside the classroom. By identifying and addressing knowledge gaps, I help students build a strong foundation and develop a mindset for lifelong learning. I am proficient in teaching in English and conduct all my lessons in English. In a typical lesson, I focus on addressing specific challenges the student is facing. Before the session, I ask students to share a problem or topic they are struggling with so I can prepare a tailored lesson plan. During the lesson, we work together to bridge the knowledge gap, using clear explanations, practical examples, and interactive exercises. My aim is to ensure the student not only understands the material but also gains the confidence to apply their knowledge independently. I offer specialized tutoring in two areas: Accounting lessons for school-level students, helping them build a strong foundation in the subject and excel in their studies. Auditing lessons for university students, focusing on advanced concepts and practical applications to support their academic and professional growth. Whether you're a school student grappling with accounting principles or a university student navigating the complexities of auditing, my lessons are designed to meet your specific needs and help you achieve your goals.
