Focusing on bowing technique and complex classical repertoire requires a deliberate pace, ensuring that vibrato and shifting positions feel entirely natural to the player. Because my background is rooted in the rigorous standards of the Curtis Institute of Music, I emphasize tone production and tuning by ear to help students develop an internal sense of pitch.
