About Lydia
My journey as a pianist and educator has been a culmination of passion, dedication, and a profound love for music. With three years of teaching experience, I have had the privilege of sharing my expertise and nurturing the musical talents of students across various age groups and skill levels.
Music has been a central part of my life from an early age, sparking a deep-seated fascination with the piano's ability to convey emotions and tell stories through music. I embarked on my musical education with classical training, mastering technique and exploring the rich repertoire of classical composers. Over time, my journey expanded to encompass jazz, where I found joy in the freedom of improvisation and the rhythmic complexity that defines the genre.
As an educator, I am committed to creating a supportive and inspiring learning environment where students can flourish. I believe in a holistic approach to piano education that balances technical proficiency with creativity and musical expression. Each student brings a unique set of goals and aspirations to the piano, and I tailor my lessons to meet their individual needs, whether they seek to learn for personal enjoyment or aspire to pursue music professionally.
Beyond teaching, I remain dedicated to my own growth as a musician, continually expanding my repertoire and refining my skills. This ongoing journey enriches my teaching, allowing me to share insights and experiences that inspire and motivate my students. My greatest reward is witnessing the progress and confidence of my students as they discover their musical potential and develop a lifelong appreciation for the piano and music as a whole.

In my piano lessons, I strive to create a dynamic and nurturing environment where students can explore and develop their musical talents to their fullest potential. With three years of teaching experience and a deep passion for music, I bring a structured yet flexible approach that is tailored to the specific needs and goals of each student.
My teaching philosophy emphasizes a comprehensive musical education that encompasses technique, theory, interpretation, and performance skills. Whether you're a beginner starting from scratch or an intermediate pianist looking to refine your playing, I design lessons that focus on building a strong foundation while nurturing creativity and musical expression.
Each lesson is thoughtfully crafted to cater to the individual learning style and interests of the student. We cover fundamental techniques such as proper hand posture, finger dexterity, and sight-reading, ensuring a solid technical base. Additionally, I incorporate diverse musical genres including classical repertoire and jazz standards, allowing students to explore different styles and discover their musical preferences.
I believe in fostering a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel motivated to explore and push their boundaries. Through patient guidance, constructive feedback, and encouragement, I aim to inspire confidence and a love for music in every student. My ultimate goal is to empower students to not only play the piano proficiently but also to develop a lifelong passion for music that enriches their lives.
