About Avy
I am a 16-year-old student with strong knowledge in Maths and the Sciences. I have recently completed my GCSEs and achieved strong predicted grades (8/9). I have experience helping other students at school before exams by explaining topics and supporting their understanding. I am confident, patient, and focused on helping students improve their exam performance through clear explanations and practice. I also play football and enjoy cycling, which reflects my discipline and commitment.

My approach to tutoring is focused on clear explanation and exam practice. I teach content step-by-step where needed, then reinforce understanding by working through exam-style questions and past paper questions together, focusing on common exam techniques and how to structure answers for marks.
Lessons are typically 45–60 minutes long, depending on the student’s preference and workload.
I have recently completed my GCSEs with strong predicted grades (8/9) in Maths and the Sciences, and I will be continuing with A-Level Maths, Biology and Chemistry. This means the content is fresh in my memory and I understand exactly what is required to succeed at GCSE level.
My tutoring is aimed at GCSE students (typically ages 14–16), specifically those studying OCR Maths and Sciences, who want to improve their understanding, confidence, and exam performance.
