I want to help with applications because I remember how daunting and unfamiliar the application process was. I remember every stage seemed like I had no idea what to expect. So the prospect of easing some of this unfamiliarity for students would be very rewarding to me. I truly want to help students tailor their application to unlock their potential.

About the lesson

Having completed my 3rd year of biochemistry at Oxford, I have now finished the content-based teaching portion of my degree. This means I have a well-rounded understanding of the structure of the degree, as well as how Oxford teaches and the key skills that they value. This understanding has been strengthened by speaking to tutors and also other students about their experiences of the application process. With this, it is now clear to me which aspects of my personal statement and interviews were crucial in helping me earn a place at Oxford for biochemistry.
