About Lamin
My name is Lamin and I am from South London. People usually have negative things to say about where I come from, but this is not true and I am living proof of that. I wasn’t always the most disciplined when it came to studying for GCSEs, but when it came down to it I made sure I put my head in the books and worked harder than anyone for the result I obtained. One thing I learnt during this experience was that the first step of learning is to be confused. This is why I am here to guide students into understanding the content they are learning because I was also in their position once upon a time.

I am a new tutor, as I have only helped those around me succeed. But now, I want to take my expertise to a new level and help many more. A typical length of a lesson would be 1 hour, but depending on whether the student needs extra support I would be willing to make a lesson longer. My teaching method caters towards the student’s needs, by breaking down hard concepts into simpler, step-by-step methods that make questions easier to complete. As I am teaching at the GCSE level, I am targeting those who are currently studying for their GCSEs, e.g. Year 10-11. However, if a student’s school starts GCSE content in Year 9 I would also take them on and help them get a head start on their peers.

He helped me understand maths while we were both doing our GCSEs. He was very patient and made difficult concepts very easy to understand. You can tell he has a passion for helping people, so I would definitely recommend!
Lamin helped me through GCSEs and made learning the content so simple. When it came to test time I felt less stressed because of the revision and learning i had done with him. He is understanding and can adjust to any learning pace that the student is working at.
Helped me with my maths gcse when I was studying, really helpful, understanding, and kind. Would totally recommend to anyone else who would like to improve in mathematics
Lamin and I shared the same classes throughout secondary school and sixth form. Lamin is a very confident and patient person; he would always put his hand up if he didn’t understand something and was very dedicated towards academics. I recommend Lamin because he would always replicate these qualities in a patient manner when I didn't understand something in a lesson, and he would always make sure others who sought help received his assistance.
I cannot recommend Lamin enough, he teaches with such patience and clarity and really helped boost my grades. His lessons are well structured and you can tell he takes pride in his teaching. I completely recommend him to anyone looking to improve in maths.
Very helpful tutor! Makes everything easy to understand, and is super patient. Makes learning fun and efficient.
Lamin was my school mate in sixth form and he would always help me in my maths lessons when I would struggle a lot! A shared experience we’ve had is when I was put on the spot in front of the class for an answer and he whispered it in my ear to save me. What I appreciate about his teaching methods is he really makes sure you understand the topic before you move on.
Lamin is an amazing person with excellent discipline and one of the greatest minds I’ve ever encountered he is very socially aware and able to help in many situations. A great helper and person
