About Izzy

Hi! I’m Izzy, a recent HSC graduate with a strong academic background and a genuine interest in helping students improve their confidence and results.

Throughout school, I achieved strong results across English, Mathematics, Health and Movement Science, Business Studies and Textiles and Design (including rank one in HMS). I understand how stressful assessments and the HSC can feel, so I aim to make tutoring supportive, approachable and focused on what will actually help each student improve.

I have previous experience tutoring Mathematics and English and enjoy breaking difficult concepts down into simple, manageable steps. I am patient, reliable and organized, and I tailor my teaching to each student’s individual learning style, strengths and areas for improvement.

Because I have recently completed the HSC myself, I have an up-to-date understanding of current syllabus requirements, exam techniques and the study strategies that work best for senior students. I also enjoy work

About the lesson

As a recent HSC graduate, I take a supportive and personalised approach to tutoring, focusing on building both understanding and confidence. I adapt each lesson to the individual student’s needs, whether that means explaining difficult concepts, working through practice questions, improving assessment responses or helping with exam preparation.

My teaching methodology is highly interactive. Rather than simply giving students answers, I break concepts down step by step, model strong responses and then guide students through applying the same skills independently. I also use syllabus terminology, past HSC questions, worked examples and targeted feedback so students become familiar with exactly what is expected in assessments and exams.

Lessons are typically 60 minutes, although I can offer shorter or longer sessions depending on the student’s age, goals and workload.

I am a recent HSC graduate with experience tutoring students in both Mathematics and English.
