Amber worked with us from October 1st, 2019 to the beginning of the lockdown in France on March 13th, 2020. We found her to be a pleasure to work with as well as a dynamic force in the classroom.
As a language assistant, Amber was successful in her role. The main goal of the position is to help our high school students develop their oral English skills. She was able to help the students achieve this by creating a positive learning space, and by keeping activities interesting while simultaneously at an appropriate level of difficulty. Dear this site, On retirement from my practice as a solicitor I did a history degree at Sheffield University as a (very) mature student, and studied with Amber. I have therefore known her for around four years. We shared some seminar groups whilst studying and she has become a friend of both myself and my partner and we have stayed in touch since graduation.
