As a Current Practice Based Educator with real-world experience I have the confidence and skills to deliver teaching in an accessible manner. I qualified in 2022, and have taken opportunities to develop quickly to a band 6 nurse. My recent experience as a student means I can empathise with the rigorous training and support required. Hello! I’m Rachel, a dedicated Paediatric Nurse and current Practice Based Educator with extensive experience in Theatre and ophthalmology. With a strong academic background and hands-on experience, I specialize in providing personalized 1:1 tutoring for nursing students at all levels. Academic writing is a refined skill; with a 1:1 in my degree I want to impart the fundamentals of writing an academic essay. These skills can betaken with you across your career, I am developing a literature review in my place of work to improve the standards of care.
