I have been teaching English since 1992 at adult Education classes, at ILH-International Language Homestays and private lessons. I have taught students who came to me with no English speaking skills and when we parted company, were able to discuss politics and inform me of their culture and beliefs. I have taught juniors, intermediate and seniors. Usually I pick a topic or theme, then arrange comprehension and vocabulary to suit that theme. I also pick a particular chapter in grammar that suits and have both reading and oral conversations to practise the vocabulary and improve the student's speaking skills.
I also use various listening and audio tapes to improve the student's listening skills.
