About Bethany
Hi, I'm Bethany Land I have a BA (Hons) in Education with Qualified Teacher Status and have spent the last five years teaching KS1, KS2, KS3, SEND & Functional Skills.
I am passionate about reading, particularly classic literature, English history, nature and archaeology.
I also enjoy spending time outdoors through hiking, swimming, and visiting historical places of interest such as national trust sites.
I love travelling and discovering new places and cultures.

Ongoing assessment is embedded throughout every session, allowing me to monitor understanding, identify misconceptions and adapt my teaching to maximise progress. I also track each learner's development over time, ensuring lessons remain focused on their individual targets and long-term goals.
My lessons provide a calm, supportive and engaging learning environment where pupils feel confident to ask questions, make mistakes and develop a secure understanding of key concepts. Each session includes clear explanations, modelled examples, guided practice, independent application and constructive feedback, helping learners make consistent, measurable progress while fostering independence and a genuine enjoyment of learning.
