About Jane
I bring over 30 years of piano experience and a deep passion for helping students grow musically with confidence, skill, and joy. With a Bachelor of Music and a Postgraduate qualification in Education, I combine strong musical expertise with sound teaching principles to support learners at every stage. Throughout my musical journey, I have participated in numerous piano competitions and concerts, gaining rich performance experience that I love to share with my students. One of my greatest joys is playing piano duets, and I often incorporate duet playing to build ensemble skills, rhythm, and musical connection. My lessons focus on refining technical skills while encouraging each student’s individual expression and musical goals—whether that’s preparing for exams or simply playing for pleasure. Whether you're just beginning or looking to advance, I’d love to help you discover the joy of music and achieve your unique goals on the piano.

With over 15 years of experience as both a piano tutor and classroom music educator, I am passionate about helping students develop not just their technical skills, but a lifelong love for music. My approach is tailored to suit each student’s unique learning style, ensuring that lessons are engaging, effective, and inspiring.
I offer individual or paired piano lessons for students aged 6 and above, from beginner to advanced levels. Whether you’re learning purely for enjoyment or preparing for graded AMEB or equivalent music exams, lessons are customised to meet your goals.
