About Christine
I am an experienced teacher and SENDCo with an MEd in the special needs of pupils with Autism. I have experience of working with children with Autism and those with literacy difficulties in both primary and secondary schools. I also have a special interest in working with adopted and looked after children. I have a current DBS check and have a level 3 qualification in safeguarding.

I’m an experienced teacher and SENDCo who believes that children learn best when they are calm, focused and receive praise for their hard work. I work closely with parents and carers to understand their child’s needs and to set targets linked to the child’s Education, Health and Care Plan or Individual Education Plan. My lessons are carefully tailored to match individual needs and you can expect a combination of focused work and educational games.
