About Sophie
I am a friendly and dedicated qualified primary teacher with a PGCE, QTS and an English degree. I have experience teaching across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in a range of primary school settings. I enjoy helping children develop confidence, overcome challenges and make progress in their learning. I believe children learn best when they feel supported, encouraged and valued, and I aim to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

I am a qualified primary teacher with QTS and a PGCE, and I have experience teaching children across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. I offer friendly, personalised lessons for children in Year 1–6, focusing on building confidence and improving skills in English and maths. Lessons are usually 60 minutes and are adapted to each child’s individual needs. I use clear explanations, encouragement, questioning and practical activities to help children make progress and enjoy learning.
