About Stephanie
I am a qualified UK Primary Teacher with experience teaching across all primary year groups, specialising in KS1 and KS2 Maths, Phonics and English. I graduated from the University of Cumbria in 2025 and am currently an Early Career Teacher (ECT). I genuinely love teaching and am passionate about helping children feel confident, curious, and excited about learning—especially in mathematics, where I enjoy bringing problem-solving and reasoning to life. My lessons are lively, supportive and carefully structured, combining clear explanations with interactive activities that keep children motivated and involved. I aim to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where children feel safe to try, make mistakes, ask questions and celebrate their progress.

I am a qualified UK Primary Teacher with experience teaching across all year groups. I graduated from the University of Cumbria in 2025 and am currently an Early Career Teacher (ECT). I specialise in KS1 and KS2 Maths, Phonics and English. I use a calm, structured and supportive approach, adapting lessons to each child’s needs. I break learning down into clear steps, use visual models and questioning, and encourage children to explain their thinking to build confidence and understanding. Lessons are interactive and designed to feel positive and achievable. Lessons typically last 60 minutes. This allows time for explanation, guided practice and consolidation, while keeping children focused and engaged. Shorter sessions can be discussed if needed. My lessons are suitable for KS1 and KS2 pupils, particularly children who: Need extra support or confidence Want to strengthen foundations in maths, phonics or English Benefit from clear explanations and a calm teaching style
