About Lowri

Hello! I’m Lowri, a passionate and qualified primary school teacher with over three years of classroom experience and a deep commitment to helping children reach their full potential. As a private tutor, I bring professionalism, understanding, and a unique perspective to every session, creating an inspiring and supportive learning environment. Learning has always been a journey for me. I was diagnosed with dyslexia four years ago, which shed light on the challenges I faced throughout my own education. While I struggled with traditional methods, I discovered creative and effective ways to overcome obstacles and thrive. This experience fuels my passion for tutoring—I understand the frustration children can feel when learning is difficult, and I know how to guide them towards success in ways that work for them. I am a qualified primary teacher with 3 years of classroom experience and over a year of private tutoring. I specialise in supporting children aged 5-11 (KS1 and KS2) in maths, English, reading, writing, and phonics. My lessons are perfect for children needing extra support, whether catching up, boosting confidence, or extending learning. I cater to both school-going and home-educated children.
