About Elizabeth

I believe education should be accessible to every child — and above all, it should be fun, engaging, and meaningful. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to work in some wonderful schools where I could shape lessons around children’s interests as well as their academic needs. This experience taught me how powerful it is when learning feels relevant, enjoyable, and tailored to the child in front of me. Working in smaller classes helped me refine the skills I now use in tutoring: focusing on the individual, building confidence, and inspiring a genuine desire to learn. I create each lesson to suit the child — whether that means stretching and challenging those who are ready to go further, or providing steady, supportive steps for those who need more time. For me, tutoring is more than teaching; it’s about building strong relationships, sparking curiosity, and sharing my love of learning. My goal is always the same: to help children take ownership of their education, grow in confidence, and see themselves as capable, enthusiastic learners.

About the lesson

With over 30 years’ teaching experience across KS1 and KS2 in both state and independent schools, I offer tailored one-to-one and small group tutoring that unlocks every child’s potential. I provide lessons both in person and online, supporting families with home schooling, after-school learning, SATs preparation, and entrance tests. I specialise in helping children who need extra time, a practical approach, or a confidence boost, including those with SEN such as ADHD, autism, dyslexia and dyscalculia. By adapting lessons to suit each child’s unique learning style, I help them build skills, independence, and a love of learning. My goal is simple: to give your child the tools, encouragement, and confidence they need to reach their full potential.
