About Sophie
I’m a qualified Primary and SEN teacher with 8 years of experience supporting children across a range of abilities. I’m passionate about helping pupils grow in confidence and discover that they can succeed, even when learning feels challenging.
I want to teach because I enjoy making learning accessible, engaging, and meaningful for every child. Seeing a pupil gain confidence, understand something new, or feel proud of their progress is what motivates me. I aim to create a supportive, personalised environment where each learner feels valued and able to thrive.
Outside of teaching, I love dogs, pandas, baking and a good sing-along! These interests I sometimes bring into lessons to make learning even more fun and engaging!

I am a creative teacher who specialises in supporting pupils with special educational needs, with a strong focus on personalising learning to engage each individual. My Primary Education degree enables me to teach across the Early Years and primary phases, and I also have experience supporting Key Stage 3 students working at a primary level.
I offer both online and in-person sessions, with an emphasis on building pupils’ confidence through engaging, hands-on learning experiences that deepen understanding.
