About Zena

I have been a classroom teacher for eighteen years and I have been tutoring for several of those.
I am an examiner ( GCSE and A Level) so I have the advantage of knowing what the examiners are looking for.

About the lesson

I am an experienced teacher, tutor and examiner.
I am a Secondary School teacher ( all Key Stages) but have recently been giving lessons to Primary students too.
I believe in a bespoke approach when it comes to tuition- teach in a way that best suits the student. We all learn in different ways!

My son has always struggled with English and has had a few different private tutors, none of whom seemed to be able to help him. Then we met Zena! She has been fabulous, cannot rate her highly enough. Not only is her knowledge second to none but she is really personable and related to to my 16 year old son with ease, he even looked forward to her lessons which has never happened before!
