About Alice
- I am a qualified ESOL teacher. I have 2 years experience in Teaching all abilities and ages. I started as a Teaching Assistant in a British Primary School where I developed the confidence of KS1 and KS2 children. I also taught in Zaragoza, Spain where I supported students from age 12 months all the way to adults.
- Supported children as young as 12 months to KS1 and KS2 children by preparing age-appropriate interactive and stimulating lessons plans. Consistently met termly goals and received high scores in mystery student and D.o.S evaluations by maintaining exceptional lesson quality.

- During my time in Spain, I gained 11 months of teaching experience with mixed ages and abilities in teaching groups of up to twelve students. Adapted my style of teaching based on their individual needs, abilities and ages. Worked with beginner to advanced learner adult group by using a ‘Speak Your Mind’ method, an almost entirely verbal method of teaching which increased my ability to spot pronunciation mistakes and focus mainly on discussion and vocabulary.
- Experience teaching small groups of KS1 and KS2 children, managed and prepared dynamic lesson plans for small group interventions to support with a ’Read, Write Inc.’ programme which aimed to support children who required extra support with phonics, reading and writing.
