About Kevin
I am a qualified English teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Limerick, Ireland, and a PGCE from Liverpool Hope University in the UK. I am currently teaching in the UAE, where I support students across a range of abilities and academic pathways.
I am passionate about helping students develop both confidence and academic excellence in English. My experience teaching Cambridge and Edexcel First and Second Language English has given me a strong understanding of what students need to succeed at IGCSE and A-Level.
I take pride in creating a supportive yet challenging learning environment, where students feel motivated to improve and achieve their full potential.

I provide high-quality, personalised English tuition designed to deliver clear, measurable progress. As a qualified English teacher with a PGCE from the UK, I specialise in Cambridge and Edexcel First and Second Language English, supporting students from Key Stage 3 through to IGCSE and A-Level.
Each 60-minute lesson is carefully structured around the student’s individual needs, whether that is improving analytical writing, refining essay structure, or mastering exam technique. I use model answers, targeted questioning, and detailed feedback to help students understand exactly how to move to the next grade level.
My approach is both supportive and academically rigorous, building confidence while maintaining high expectations. I work with students aiming to secure strong passes as well as those targeting top grades, with a particular focus on exam performance and meeting assessment criteria.
