About Covenant

Hello and welcome! I am a qualified and passionate English Language teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Education (English) and practical teaching experiences. I am committed to helping children strengthen their language skills, improve their academic performance, and become confident learners.

My teaching approach is patient, interactive, and tailored to each student's individual needs. I use clear explanations, familiar examples, storytelling, guided practice, and engaging activities to make learning easier and more enjoyable. For example, when teaching a child the difference between nouns and verbs, I begin with familiar words such as *teacher*, *book*, *run*, and *write*. I explain that nouns name people, places, or things, while verbs describe actions. Together, we create simple sentences, identify the nouns and verbs, and practice making new sentences. This allows the child to understand the concept and apply it independently rather than simply memorizing definitions.

I understand that every child learns at a different pace. When a student struggles with a topic, I break it down into smaller steps, use alternative explanations, and provide additional exercises until the student feels more confident. I also encourage questions and celebrate progress so that learners feel safe making mistakes and learning from them.

I teach primary and secondary school students who need support with English Language, reading, grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and writing. My lessons focus on building strong foundations, developing independent learning skills, and helping each student make steady progress.

My goal is to create a friendly, professional, and supportive learning environment where every child feels valued, motivated, and capable of succeeding. I look forward to helping your child grow in confidence and achieve their learning goals.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is learner-centered, interactive, and focused on helping every child build confidence and achieve their learning goals. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education (English) and have teaching experience, which has equipped me with the skills to explain concepts clearly and adapt my teaching methods to suit different learning needs.

I begin each lesson by assessing the learner’s current understanding and identifying areas that need improvement. I use simple explanations, practical examples, storytelling, reading activities, educational games, and guided exercises to make lessons engaging and easy to understand. I encourage learners to ask questions, participate actively, and express their ideas without fear of making mistakes. When a child struggles with a concept, I break it into smaller steps, explain it differently, and provide additional practice until the learner gains a better understanding.

My online lessons typically last 30–45 minutes for younger children and up to 60 minutes for older learners, depending on their age, concentration level, and learning goals. I also provide regular feedback, revision exercises, and progress updates to help learners improve consistently.

I teach children and primary and secondary school students who need support in English Language, reading, grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, writing, and other related language skills. My goal is to create a friendly, patient, and supportive learning environment where every child feels encouraged, valued, and motivated to learn. I believe that every learner can make progress with the right guidance, consistent practice, and an approach tailored to their individual needs.
