About Ebrahim

I am a qualified Chartered Accountant, CA(SA), and TEFL-certified tutor with professional experience in accounting, auditing and financial reporting.

I enjoy helping students understand difficult concepts in a simple and practical way. Having worked with real businesses and international clients, I am able to bring practical examples into my lessons and show students how accounting concepts are applied outside of textbooks.

I am patient, approachable and adaptable in my teaching style. I understand that every student learns differently, so I focus on creating a comfortable environment where students can ask questions, build confidence and improve at their own pace.

I can assist with Accounting, Auditing, IFRS, exam preparation, past papers, assignment guidance and general tutoring. I am also able to support students who want to improve their English or Business English skills.

My goal is to help students not only achieve better results, but also develop a genuine understanding of the subject and become more confident in their abilities.

About the lesson

I am a qualified CA(SA) and TEFL-certified tutor with practical experience in accounting, auditing and financial reporting. My teaching approach is patient, practical and focused on helping students understand concepts rather than simply memorising answers.

I tailor each lesson to the individual student’s level, goals and areas of difficulty. For Accounting, Auditing and IFRS, I use practical examples, past-paper questions, worked examples and step-by-step explanations to make complex topics easier to understand. I also provide exam preparation, revision support and guidance on assignments, while helping students develop the skills to complete their own work confidently.

A typical lesson will start by identifying the topic or problem the student is struggling with. We will then work through the underlying concept, practise relevant questions together and focus on common mistakes and exam technique. Students are encouraged to ask questions throughout the lesson, and I adapt the pace depending on their understanding.

My lessons are conducted in English, and my TEFL qualification also allows me to support students who may need additional help understanding Accounting terminology or improving their Business English.

My lessons are suitable for high school, college and university students, as well as students studying Accounting, Auditing, Finance, IFRS or related business subjects. I can also assist students preparing for tests and examinations, working through past papers, improving their Accounting fundamentals or strengthening their confidence before assessments.

What makes my tutoring different is that I combine academic knowledge with real-world professional experience as a Chartered Accountant, allowing me to explain not only how Accounting works, but also how it is applied in practice.
