About Kieran
A 32 year old father to three... dogs. Like most geography teachers I have a passion and interest in the outdoors with a lot of patience and supportive in developing confident and independent learners. I have 10 years teaching experience in the humanities department and have worked with a range of pupils with varying needs and requirements.

My first objective is to understand the needs of each student I work with so we can focus efforts on helping you achieve the results you deserve. My lessons consist of cycles of providing new material and understanding followed by an opportunity for you to practise using this knowledge in a supported way. My approach to lessons follows Rosenshine's core principles of learning and is highly effective. I would normally suggest lessons be no longer than 60 minutes for GCSE and A-Level students. I am familiar with teaching the OCR A, OCR B and AQA and Eduqas A specifications at GCSE. However, I would be happy to familiarise myself with other specifications as required.
