About Eva
My name is Eva, I’m 23 years old, and I’m from New Caledonia, a small French island in the South Pacific. I completed my master’s degree in France and spent six months completing my internship in Australia, at both the University of Newcastle and the Alliance Française of Newcastle, with whom I have continued working. Currently working as a casual employee, I am seeking this opportunity to increase my income in the field I am passionate about.

As a 23-year-old French native speaker with a Master's degree in Teaching French as a Foreign Language, I am eager to contribute my skills and passion for teaching. I have had the pleasure of working with a diverse range of students, from young children aged 3 to 10, to teenagers, to adult learners. This experience has allowed me to develop engaging and effective teaching strategies tailored to various age groups, levels, and learning styles. My main goal is to ensure my students enjoy their learning experience while keeping lessons engaging and fun. I focus a lot on games, reinforcement exercices, and enjoyable conversations to make learning fun. The key objective is to be able to interact with others in the language—both to understand and be understood. Additionally, I hold a Working with Children Check, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for my students. I am a self-motivated, organised, and serious educator who is deeply passionate about fostering a love for the French language and culture.
