About Caroline
I'm a BSc Psychology graduate from King's College London. I am currently studying a Master degree in Organisational Psychology and Psychiatry and have been working as a student coach for the past 1.5 years. I have plenty of experience teaching and working with GCSE and A-Level students, prepping them to help them achieve their optimal potential.
I am offering Psychology lessons to students in their GCSE's, or those looking to gain a deeper and broader understanding of the subject. I am also able to assist with homework, essay formatting and writing, prepping students for university applications, and giving general guidance within the realms of Psychology.
Psychology can be a tricky subject, especially for GCSE and A-level students, due to the volume of information that is required to be memorised, therefore, I am able to help with memory techniques, study time management and exam preparation as well.
As a student myself, I am well aware of the pressure and difficulties that can be experienced. I have been working with students for the past 1.5 years on a regular basis whilst also mentoring on an irregular basis. I achieved a 2.1 in my BSc Psychology degree, and recieved 38 points at IB level prior to university. I am now on track to complete my MSc degree at King's College London.

My teaching method is hands-on. I prefer to give the students tasks to complete on a regular basis to ensure that learning is consistent and becomes habitual. When it comes to essay help, my teaching style is very much based on ensuring students understand why they have written what they have written so as to not encourage the 'copy-paste' mentality and give them a sense of ownership and fulfillment from their work.
As well as this, I have a systematised approach to study time management that has been found to work for all the students I have taught it to. I have received great feedback on the effectiveness and ease it has given students in managing the workload across a considered and manageable timeframe.
When teaching Psychology, I have an emphasis on teaching how to approach the subject in a methodical way whilst being critical in the interpretation and analysis of text and research. My experience with Psychology is research-based and analytical. However, this knowledge is grounded in theory with an understanding for application to real-world settings.

Cancellation policy: If the lesson is canceled within 12 hours of the lesson taking place, the full hourly rate will be charged. If a scheduled lesson needs to be cancelled or rescheduled, students should do so no later than 48 hours until the lesson or the full hourly rate will still be charged.
