Ms. Turner is the definition of a trustworthy teacher because she cares about her students. Being that I had Ms. Turner 9th & 11th grade I have really been able to trust her beyond measures. She has made it so easy to talk to her and she never steers me in the wrong direction. She cares not only about my well being, but also cares about my grade.

I have known Ms. Turner over many years. I was her supervisor as principal for several years in a middle school. She was always hardworking and Ms. Turner was especially strong in dealing with students deemed, "At Risk." I admired her for her willingness to take on difficult assignments and still build the kind of relationships of which it takes to garner trust from students who in many cases had either given up on school or was having lots of difficulty academically and behaviorally. Ms. Turner, along with other members of our staff was able to help many of those students turn the corner and start to feel much needed success. Of course, not all, but many begin to prosper after lots of hard work and dedication. Finally, not only did Ms. Turner teach English but she also taught math. Given the opportunity, I think Ms. Turner will do a good job and will successfully help tutor many students.

Tiwana was my tutor from 7th-9th grade! She helped me so much with math & writing. The way she broke everything down and made it simple helped so much especially when it came to algebra. She was always so patient & supportive with me every step of the way. So grateful for her!!

Ms. Turner was a very trustworthy teacher. Her classroom was very fun, and she made it a joy to attend her class every day. She was able to relate our assignments to real life experiences and therefore I feel I had a better understanding of the work. Ms. Turner was an amazing English Teacher!

She taught me my senior year and always kept me focused on task and on top of my grades and fed me with joy the moment I walked in the door. Mrs. turner always kept and conducted a very well structured and engaging class she was very willing to help at any time as well. I had the pleasure of having Ms. Tiwanna Turner as my 9th grade literature teacher at Heritage High School. With the help of Ms. Turner's distinctive teaching skills, I finished her course with an A average. I built a long-term teacher-student relationship with Ms. Turner; even after my time in her class, she still serves as a mentor who continues to teach me along my academic journey. Ms. Turner is prideful in her work and strives for perfection in the classroom. She ensures that no student is left behind in the curriculum. Ms. Turners joyful personality and determination produces successful students and even more successful test results.

Tiwana is the type of teacher that we need in the school system today. Tiwana is the type of teacher who keeps the child coming back to learn from her and take her skills away. I have seen firsthand how she teaches in her classroom and how the students gravitate towards her.

Mrs. Turner was my english teacher for 9th grade. I always looked forward to her class because she made learning exciting and easy. Whenever I was stuck on an assignment, she’d explain it very well so I could understand. She is very outgoing and is sure to put a smile on your face. Ms. Turner has done phenomenal work with students on their educational journey! She displays compassion while teaching with a high level mix of academic knowledge that she shares with her students to that content is not only mastered but used in real world applications. Tiwana is a very considerate and understanding teacher, not only that she is a big help with any classwork and will offer help for any questions you have.

Tiwana was my teacher for 2 years and was hands down the best teacher I’ve ever had. She helped me grow as a student and always got the best out of me whether it was through a passionately written essay or even a simple writing prompt.
